The Black@ Labs Council

The Black@ Labs Council will be composed of 9 members elected every 6 months. Members of the council will handle day-to-day decision making for the DAO, including some responsibilities such as:

  • The DAO's Council regularly considers feedback from members and recommends improvements to the systems, operations, and procedures used by the organization.

  • The Council reviews initiatives submitted through the DAO platform. They ensure that all initiatives are beneficial to the DAO community, and they vote on whether or not an initiative should pass

  • The Council decides whether or not to hold a town hall for every initiative. If they decide that one is necessary, they organize the meeting and vote on it themselves.

  • After receiving and reviewing a dispute from one of its members, the Council forms a committee of selected DAO members to resolve it.
